• Enquiry details you send us: name, phone number, email address, property postcode, the job type and anything you write in the message box.
• Call, WhatsApp and email correspondence, including any photos of your roof you send us.
• Job records: the address worked at, quotes, what was done, materials used, invoices and payment records.
• Photographs taken on site for quoting, record-keeping and (only with your permission) our portfolio.
• Basic server logs generated by our hosting provider, including IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the site running.

We do not collect special category data and we do not run any tracking or advertising profiling on this website.

• Answering your enquiry and quoting — steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
• Carrying out the work, invoicing and guarantee claims — performance of our contract with you.
• Keeping accounting and tax records — legal obligation (HMRC).
• Defending against complaints or claims, and site safety records — our legitimate interests in running the business responsibly.
• Showing your job photos publicly, or sending you offers — only ever with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

• Enquiries that do not become jobs: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Job records, quotes and invoices: 6 years after the work, to meet tax rules and cover the limitation period for claims.
• Guarantee records: for the length of the workmanship guarantee plus 1 year.
• Site photos: kept with the job record, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

We do not sell your data. We share it only where it is necessary to run the business:

• Our email and phone providers, which carry your messages to us.
• Our website hosting provider, which runs this site and stores the client records in our admin system.
• Our accountant and HMRC, for tax and accounting.
• Suppliers or scaffolders, where an address is needed to deliver materials or erect access equipment.
• Insurers, loss adjusters or legal advisers, if a claim or dispute arises.

Where a provider processes data outside the UK, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum apply.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Be told what we hold about you and get a copy (subject access).
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Ask us to erase data we no longer need.
• Ask us to restrict how we use it while a concern is resolved.
• Receive data you gave us in a portable format.
• Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis.
• Not be subject to automated decision-making — we do not do any.

Client records are held in a password-protected admin system with access limited to the owner. Data is encrypted in transit. Email and WhatsApp are used for day-to-day contact; please avoid sending anything highly sensitive that way.
